I have been working in the manufacturing space for more than 30 years, I have a great passion for my job and currently manage two Sites in the SW Region. Both Mills have different processes and the end game is the same, we strive for a safe work place, delivering a World Class Product backed up by technical expertise which is fit for purpose and ensuring we maintain the highest quality to the customer. I enjoy working with the varied work groups and we all strive to be a team delivering the best we can for both our shareholders and our customers. I enjoy leading my teams and helping them grow in their areas of expertise to help them fulfil their objectives and deliver great results.
Q1: Share some interesting facts about yourself
- I have a full diary after hours with time being spent on various passions such as cooking various styles of food including Italian, Greek and Middle Eastern Cuisine, and making small goods like traditional style salami’s and good old English bacon.
- I have a passion for cars and boats and have spent many a weekend under the bonnet of a car.
- I often spend weekends on the water enjoying and targeting certain fish species. I also have a passion for gardening and making home brews, and enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
Q2: What do you believe differentiates Reids from other companies?
Reid’s have a very autonomous approach to business and let the stakeholders get on with business as they aid and support the decision making process, being a family business makes the difference and the experience for both employee and customer is personal. I feel part of something worthwhile and feel valued in the business. We have a great team working and striving for the same goal and that is to service our customers, both internal and external.

To treat everyone with respect and to show kindness, compassion and empathy, always be kind and listen to the conversation.
