Joint owner / Director Reid Stockfeeds Pty Ltd. Commenced business with Ian 40years ago (February 2024).
Highlights of my working life:
- Selected to represent Victorian Agribusiness @ the Women in Focus Conference in Port Douglas 2014.
- Finalist in The Telstra Business Women’s Awards 2015. Receiving A WLA ( Women in Leadership Australia ) scholarship, 12 month Course 2017.
- To Uganda with the Hunger Project Leadership Team in 2018.
- Judge of the Telstra Business Awards 2022.
- Operate currently from Board level as well as several Committees in the admin/finance side of the Business.
Q1: Share some interesting facts about yourself
- A passion for Travel, Fashion as well as horses. I have owned a horse most of my life.
- Saw Tasmania through the eyes of a horse in 2019. Interesting experience riding for the first time in my life without a bridle !
- Bred Pacers for 25+ years until 2018.
- Currently part owner of a galloper, yet to run, owned /part owned several gallopers over the years. Memorable overseas trip was to the races – Royal Ascot and The Irish Derby with friends from SA.
Q2: What do you believe differentiates Reids from other companies?
As the owners of the Business, I believe we are as accessible to our customers (if they wish) as we have ever been, as opposed to corporates who don’t have that same Family relationship with their employees & customers. I am not sure we differentiate from other Family Business’s in our Industry, however we do strive to look for continual improvement in everything we do.
Q3: What’s the most valuable lesson you’ve learnt in life?
If you are always upfront and honest, you never have to worry about what you have said to someone as long as it is the truth.
Q4: Your goals or aspirations for the future.
The Business continues to strive to be a leader in our Industry. The Teams we have in place now have the capacity to support one another and grow themselves, along with our customers and the business, so we can all benefit from a healthy, happy workplace.

We only have two lives and the second begins when you realize you only have one.
