Join Our Regional Southwest Team as one of our Site Managers!
Reid Stockfeeds (Reid’s) is a proudly family-owned business, trusted by livestock farmers across Victoria, South Australia, and New South Wales. With a strong reputation for quality service, we are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Site Manager to lead operations at one of our two sites (Cobden or Camperdown) in Southwest Victoria region.
As one of our Site Managers in the Southwest region, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our operations. You will oversee the leadership and performance of one of our two sites in the Southwest region. What You’ll Do:
- Confidently lead and empower the site to meet production and distribution targets with a focus on efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee financial performance and collaborate with the General Manager – Operations to boost profitability for your site.
- Champion safety, compliance, and continuous improvement at your site.
- Foster a culture of success, motivating teams and ensuring clear communication across all levels and other teams.
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and local communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Excellence: Ensure teams have the resources and training to deliver top-tier service and meet customer expectations.
- Team Leadership: Inspire, train, and develop direct reports, ensuring a motivated and engaged site.
- Financial Performance: Examine financial data/site P&L to make recommendations to the General Manager – Operations to improve profitability and reduce expenses.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe and compliant environment while leading audits and implementing best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
- Leadership Experience: Proven management experience, ideally in a high-volume manufacturing environment (stockfeed experience preferred, but food manufacturing will also be considered).
- Operational Expertise: Hands-on and can-do approach with knowledge of lean manufacturing and process improvement.
- People & Change Management: Ability to inspire teams and drive positive change.
- Great Communication: Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills to collaborate across departments and with external partners.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to think critically and solve challenges while maintaining a focus on results and remain resilient.
