Follow these instructions to make the most of your feed:
Introduce pellets gradually to allow for rumen adaptation.
Begin at 50-100 grams/head/day, once all Ewe’s are consuming, increase by 50 grams/head/day up to desired feed rate.
- Recommended feeding rates vary depending on the fodder quality, stage of cycle & liveweight.
- For 60Kg Liveweight ewe’s, multiply the recommended amounts by 1.2.
- For 70Kg Liveweight ewe’s, multiply the recommended amounts by 1.4.
- Table amounts assume maintenance of liveweight, for daily gain multiply the table amounts by 1.2.
- Always offer a source of long fibre (straw or hay).
- Always offer a suitable quality source of water.
